Who are you? Who do you want to be? In this episode, we talk about the psychology of character creation in games. What makes us choose—sometimes predictably—certain types of characters? Do we tend to make characters more like ourselves or those whose characteristics embody the kind of people we aspire to be? How often do we take on the challenge of playing a character with a different type of personality than our own? And how might our character affect our playstyle in a game and vice-versa?
